Technology to Support On Campus and Distance Learning 2020-2021


Based on the success of our existing Distance Learning Program, St. Gabriel’s will continue to leverage our cloud-based software solutions to support the educational requirements of each grade level. These include, but are not limited to:

  • mySGCS

  • GSuite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)

  • SeeSaw

  • ZOOM - primary platform for LIVE (synchronous) instruction



PK-2nd Grade - iPads pre-loaded with all necessary apps specific to each grade level. 


3rd-8th Grade - Chromebooks 


Faculty/Staff - Windows 10 laptops and iPads


Live Streaming Set-ups for Faculty - cameras and microphones (classroom or home use)​

We recognize that technology is fallible. Our goal is to equip all faculty and staff, students and parents with a basic set of troubleshooting skills to maximize the continuity of learning both on campus and at home; minimizing downtime due to device and/or connectivity issues. 


Recognizing that home wi-fi configurations, bandwidth limitations and the number of devices accessing home wi-fi will impact a student’s internet connectivity and beyond the scope of our ability to troubleshoot; parents will need to contact their ISP providers for assistance in those areas.


St. Gabriel’s Technology Department will use a combination of resources including pre-recorded and live training sessions, digital help documents and remote assistance to help users with basic troubleshooting and diagnostics of device errors.
